Chablis is Chardonnay that comes from the northernmost wine district of the Burgundy region in France. By law, it it says Chablis on the label, it must be Chardonnay!

Bottled under Stelvin, the 2018 Chablis Les Pargues is showing nicely, revealing aromas of citrus zest, confit lemon, pear and white flowers. Medium-bodied, fleshy and succulent, it's open-knit and charming, with a delicately textural attack and a chalky finish.
A balanced wine that reveals a fine, fruity nose that is oriented towards citrus fruit. On the palate, the freshness and minerality of the appellation are found, as well as a hint of vivacity supported by a white-flesh fruit side. This vintage has a beautiful concentration as well as a nice balance.
Well-balanced and slightly racy. It reveals notes of lemon, white flowers associated with discreet hints of white peach, limestone/minerality as well as an imperceptible hint of almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky, racy, aerial and offers a slight acid frame, a slight minerality as well as beautiful finesse. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe yellow peach, apricot and slight touches of quince, ripe Williams pear associated with a discreet hint of lemon, clementine.
Pale gold color. On the nose, mineral, floral and bergamot notes. On the palate, generous wine, with a beautiful aromatic complexity; the finish, with mineral notes, ends with fresher and more floral sensations.
This wine will be the worthy companion of fish. Typical with an andouillette in Chablis

Les Clos, which is the cradle of Chablis vineyards, is the largest of the Grands Crus. Due to its open Southern exposure, this terroir yields generous wines, which are full bodied and with a very long finish.
