Silky and refined, with focused cherry puree, plum reduction and raspberry coulis notes racing through, infused subtly with rose petal, warm stone and lavender hints. Features nice perfume through the finish. Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cinsault.
A very pungent nose combines notes of reduction, wood and menthol. There is excellent complexity to the rich, round and relatively refined medium weight plus flavors due in part to the fine grain of the supporting tannins and balanced finish that demonstrates outstanding persistence.
The Volnay Burgundy combines nobility, delicacy, elegance, and femininity. A delicate violet and berry fragrance. One of the finest representatives of the Côte de Beaune. The Volnay is in the Côte de Beaune what the Chambolle Musigny is in the Côte de Nuits.
This Santenay Burgundy is dry and full-bodied. A fleshy wine with notes of preserved fruits and honey combined with a nice acidity level which brings a nice balance and a good mineral length.
The wine exhibits classic varietal characteristics of lemon and grapefruit on the nose, while vivid tropical fruits flood the palate. The finish is delightfully crisp and lingering.
The non-vintage Otima 10-Year Old Tawny Port reveals a medium ruby/amber/garnet color, loads of kirsch and cedar intermixed with a touch of brown sugar in the nose, rich, full-bodied flavors, a burgeoning complexity and big aromatics. This is a full-bodied, silky smooth Tawny Port that should age easily for 8-10+
Well-honed, with a touch of sweetness to the plush flavors of butterscotch, pear tart, almond and vanilla. Orange peel and dried ginger accents emerge on the seductively spicy finish. Drink now. 8,500 cases imported.
This beer, inspired by the flavors of southeast Asian cuisine, is a twist on the classic Belgian witbier style. Instead of coriander and orange peel, we add lemongrass, ginger root, and a dash of Sorachi Ace hops. The result is a wonderfully refreshing ale with notes of lemon candy, citrus fruit, and a slight spiciness from the ginger.
The wine is dark and dense on appearance. The brooding nose is intense and shows an abundance of dark fruits. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, baking spices, and heady whiffs of violets create complexity. Dark berry fruit, licorice, notes of sweet tobacco, and allspice follow through onto a vibrant mid-palate with bright, svelte tannins and a silky texture. The wine shows exceptional balance with fresh, integrated acidity. Dark plums, black olives, and hints of tar and cigar box linger on an earthy finish.
