91 Points Wine Enthusiast! Only 500 Cases Produced!
Rocky gravel meets plum blossoms, strawberry jam, cola and nutmeg on the nose of this single-vineyard expression by winemaker Brian Loring. Once sipped, dark and rich pomegranate and olallieberry fruit takes hold, with graphite minerality making a splash mid-palate.
88 Points Wine Enthusiast! Vincent Lataste's organic wine is light, bright and immediately refreshing. This is a wine that shows a strongly herbal side. It has citrus and green apple flavors that are crisp and tight. With perfumed acidity at the end, the wine is delicious to drink now. It won 2016 Best of Wine Tourism award for B&B in giant wine barrels.
90 Points! Decantalo The color is cherry red with an intense, strong red bottom, almost scarlet. In the nose it shows hardwoods with coconut and peppery scents, over a subtle fragrant bottom of ripe black fruits and fruit compote. A licorice cedary bottom also appears. On the palate it is fresh and harmonious, but with character.
91 Points Wine Enthusiast! Editors Choice! The origins of this estate go back to the 13th century when it was the property of the Knights Templar. The large 400-acre vineyard has produced this fine rich wine, full of ripe red fruits and with a bright herbal edge. It is bone dry, crisp and ready to drink.
